New Ownership of Dental Excellence
Hello and a warm welcome from all of us at Dental Excellence!
As a valued patient of our practice, we wanted to take this opportunity to inform you that it is with a heavy heart that Dr. Jeremy Woodcock has announced he is looking to wind down his duties as a dentist and looks ahead to retirement. He has looked after his many patients with great dedication and care over the past 30 years and we will be sorry to wish him goodbye and thank him for his years of service.
In the same breath, we are very pleased to be welcoming Dr. Mumtaz Awan and Dr. Morteza Mazinanian as our new Principal Dentist and Specialist. Dr. Awan and Dr. Mazinanian are very experienced clinicians who share the same ideals and values as Dr. Woodcock in providing the highest quality of care to each and every one of their patients.
Mumtaz and Morteza both graduated from Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry with honours. Mumtaz has subsequently undertaken many postgraduate programmes after completion of her training to ensure she is providing the absolute best care to every one of her patients. She has focused her training on the provision of Invisalign, cosmetic and facial aesthetic treatments.
Morteza built on his initial training by working in several hospital settings, following which he joined the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute (EDI), UCL, where he completed his specialist training in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics with Distinction. Morteza has Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons (MFDS) and Membership in Prosthodontics (MPROS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Morteza is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at EDI and is involved with the teaching of graduate dentists on simple and complex implants, restorative and cosmetic treatments.
When not involved in dentistry, Mumtaz and Morteza enjoy spending with their two beautiful children.
At Dental Excellence, as the name suggests, we are continually committed to providing our patients with the highest quality dental care in the same warm, caring and professional manner we extend to members of our own family.
We look forward to seeing you again soon and should you have any queries at all, please feel free to get in touch.
Kindest Regards
Dental Excellence
